About Us

The Diploma in Public Policy and Child Rights (DPPCR) is an advanced professional graduate diploma offered in cooperation between professional academic writing services and higher education institutes in Egypt, Jordan, and the European Union (Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands).

This Diploma has been established in response to the need for relevant and appropriate child-friendly legislation, policies, budgets and programs that are based on scientific evidence and are developed to respect, protect and fulfill the rights of all children in the Arab world.

DPPCR is targeted at policy makers, service providers, researchers, students, civil servants, journalists, activists, and other people working with and for children. It builds students’ knowledge and skills by providing them with the tools and well-founded arguments needed to make legislation, policies, budget and programs work for children today.

Our aim is that the skills students gain through this diploma will enable them to become stronger advocates for child rights in the Arab world.

This Diploma is different from other regular diplomas in various ways as it:

-          Teaches courses that are interdisciplinary in nature and include fields such as economics, political science, public policy, law, sociology, psychology, social welfare, education etc;

-          Hosts guest lecturers from MENA and European partner countries;

-          Adopts an approach to continuously improve the course content in a participatory manner between students, instructors and the European partners;

-          Combines rigorous class interactions with field research, and bridges the gap between research and practice;

-          Uses blended learning and new technologies;

-          Offers top students an opportunity to attend fully funded intensive summer programs as well as child rights courses offered at the partner universities in Europe, Egypt and Jordan so that they can interact with peers in similar programs and work on joint projects;

-          Offers students the chance to network with different stakeholders in the field of children's rights, health, and development cooperation in the MENA region and beyond;

-          Allows students to transfer completed credits to European Universities through the ECTS system.
